Editing
  We edit content systematically, following the "levels of edit" method developed at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This flexible structure takes the guesswork out of project management. It enables you to select exactly the type of edit (for example, consistency, policy, format, integrity, language, substance, and style) that meets your business needs, project by project. Each edit includes a detailed edit comment sheet that describes problems and proposes solutions, with negative and positive examples. If you want, we can compile comment sheets into a style guide.

You fill out a one-page PDF form to specify exactly the type of document edit you need.

We add edits as electronic comments to a PDF version of your print or online document. Or we edit the source files directly.

Rewriting
 We rewrite content systematically, following the modular method we developed at major aerospace, hardware, and software companies. This method is explained in Single Sourcing: Building Modular Documentation.
If you want, we can restructure your existing linear documents into focused modules, for easy and effective re-use in different documents and formats. This process also decreases redundancy and increases usability.
Indexing
 We index content systematically, following the sequential method we developed at major aerospace, hardware, and software companies. This method is explained in Indexing: A Nuts-and-Bolts Guide.
If you want, we can build modular index entries that travel with your content. These entries can be generated into any document index, in any format.
