For over 15 years, he has written, edited, indexed, and programmed user documentation for major companies, such as Hewlett-Packard, Symantec, and Xerox. Clients in the U.S., Europe, and Asia use his conversion templates to transform print documentation into online help.

Kurt is the author of Single Sourcing: Building Modular Documentation and Indexing: A Nuts-and-Bolts Guide for Technical Writers. A senior member of STC, he is a speaker at conferences, chapter meetings, and special events.
